Setting Up Your Integration (The 5-Minute Version)
Connect your ATS
In ScreenInterview, go to Settings → Integrations. Select your ATS and follow the OAuth flow (or enter your API key if that's how your ATS works). Most platforms use OAuth, which means you just click "Connect" and authorize the connection.
Map your workflows
Tell ScreenInterview when to trigger interviews. Common setups: "When a candidate moves to 'Phone Screen' stage" or "When a candidate is added to any job in the Engineering department." You can get as specific or as broad as you want.
Configure data sync
Choose what data flows back to your ATS. At minimum, you'll want interview transcripts and pass/fail recommendations. You can also sync detailed scores, key quotes, red flags, and more.
Test with a sample candidate
Before going live, run a test. Create a dummy candidate in your ATS, move them to the trigger stage, and make sure the interview invitation sends correctly. Complete the interview yourself to verify results sync back properly.

Common Integration Questions
What if my ATS isn't listed?
We offer webhook-based integrations and a REST API for custom connections. If your ATS can send webhooks or make API calls, we can integrate with it. Our team can also build custom integrations for enterprise customers.
Is candidate data secure during sync?
Absolutely. All data transfers are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We're SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR compliant. We never store ATS credentials—we use OAuth tokens that you can revoke at any time.
Can I turn off the integration temporarily?
Yes. You can pause integrations at any time without disconnecting them. Useful if you're doing ATS maintenance or want to manually control interview triggers for a specific role.
What happens if a candidate doesn't complete the interview?
You decide. You can set automatic reminders, mark them as "No Show" in your ATS after X days, or keep them in a pending state. Most teams send 2-3 reminders over a week before dispositioning.
